Browning Pass & Browning Wall (Port Hardy): One of BC’s signature sites, Browning Wall drops steeply from the surface and is covered in colorful marine life: red soft corals, anemones, wolf eels, giant octopuses, candy-stripe shrimp, and more. Strong currents mean dives happen at slack tide.
God’s Pocket Marine Provincial Park: Accessible via boat from Port Hardy, this isolated area features kelp forests, steep walls alive with cloud sponges, rockfish, iodaster starfish, wolf eels, sea lions, and massive octopus. Dives are often drifts with no in-water guides.
